In short: we collect only what we need to quote for, deliver and support your project. The website has no analytics or advertising trackers and sets no cookies, and we never sell your information.
Who we are
Mukhtar Networking is an IT networking, surveillance, web development and custom PC business based in Mumbai, India, run by Faisal Mukhtar. Contact us about privacy at faisal@mukhtarnetworking.com or on +91 98205 74146.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you call, email or WhatsApp us, we receive the details you share: your name, phone number, email, site address and details of your project.
- The estimator. The price estimator runs entirely in your browser and stores nothing. If you choose to send your estimate, it opens your own WhatsApp or email app with the message filled in, and we receive it only when you send it.
- During a project. To survey, design and set up your systems we may handle site layouts, network diagrams, device lists, and passwords or access you give us for configuration.
- When you visit the website. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) keeps standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, pages requested and time, for security and performance. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address under its own privacy policy.
The website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels or social media trackers.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries, visit your site and prepare quotes.
- To deliver, configure, support and maintain the work you have asked for.
- To order hardware and register warranties.
- To issue invoices and keep the accounting and tax records the law requires.
We do not sell or rent your information, and we will not send you marketing messages without your agreement.
Who we share it with
- Hardware suppliers and manufacturers, only the details needed to fulfil orders and warranties.
- Banks and payment providers, to process payments.
- Professional advisers, such as our accountant, where needed.
- Government or law enforcement authorities, only when the law requires it.
Messages you send on WhatsApp, email or phone are also handled by those service providers under their own policies.
Your CCTV footage and network data
We access your cameras, recordings or network data only with your permission and only as far as needed to install, configure or support them. We do not keep copies of your footage. At handover we give you the administrator credentials, and we recommend you change the passwords we used during setup.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept for up to two years if no work goes ahead, and deleted sooner on request. Project, invoice and tax records are kept for as long as Indian accounting and tax laws require.
Security
We protect the information we hold with reasonable technical and organisational measures, including strong passwords, limited access and encrypted devices. No method is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal information, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Contact faisal@mukhtarnetworking.com and we will respond within the time the law requires. If you are not satisfied, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our services are intended for adults and businesses, not for children under 18.
